TULIP: The Five Points of Calvinism

TULIP: The Five Points of Calvinism introduces students to the theology commonly known as Calvinism.

Our goal is not primarily to understand the doctrines taught by John Calvin, Martin Luther, Charles Spurgeon, and other prominent Calvinists. Rather, our aim is to explore the biblical teaching on the sovereignty of God in the salvation of sinners.

In the process, we will examine the extent of human sinfulness, the nature of human freedom, the problem of evil, the grace of God in conversion, the accomplishment of the cross, the doctrine of election, and the security of the believer. Ultimately, our goal is that students who take this course will be awakened to the glory of God’s sovereign grace.
