A Word from the Director

Hello, my name is Jason Abell and I am the director of The Bethlehem Institute. Our mission statement says that we exist, under the authority of God’s inerrant Word, to spread a passion for the supremacy of God in all things for the joy of all peoples through Jesus Christ by equipping men and women to treasure Christ above all things, to grow in wisdom and knowledge over a lifetime, and to glorify God in every sphere of life.

We exist for the glory of Jesus Christ by equipping. We equip by providing classes in Bible and Theology, languages and church history. Our class offerings change from semester to semester, but our mission doesn’t.

TBI is designed to be more than Sunday School, yet not a college either. We seek to fall somewhere in between, providing a rigorous classroom experience, yet with head and heart, devotion and study. We are a part of both Bethlehem College and Seminary and the adult ministries of Bethlehem Baptist Church. This unique nature allows us to offer classes to anyone who wants to come.
